GRID Alternatives is partnering with CELI to host a community service event for emPOWER attendees. The event will take place on Friday, October 26th, from 8:00am-12:00pm. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with much-needed professional development skills for GRID's solar install trainees in the form of resume-building and mock interviewing. The trainees will be attending MDV-SEIA's Solar Focus Job fair the week after, so this will be the perfect opportunity for them to sharpen their pitch and ask questions for job prospecting!
We have capacity for 20 volunteers. Please submit this form by Wednesday, October 23rd, and we will follow up with more details about the volunteer event.

Rest break and group switch.

Group B does speed interviewing, Group A does one-to-one resume revisions and company research prep for job fair.

Debrief with entire group on lessons learned/takeaways.

GRID transports staff and volunteers back to GRID office.
